When in 2008, following an increasingly difficult market, Pansudecides to sell its department of upholstery fabrics, CASAL makes an offer. The sophisticated fabrics, the silk products and the « mountain-design » collection enrich CASAL’s style. The viscose velvet Constantin, launched by Pansu some years before the take-over, becomes the international bestseller of CASAL until the 2010s.
